About
William Alexander

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Compton, the author’s life story is one of resilience, creativity, and faith. Growing up in an environment marked by violence and gang activity, he often says he’s grateful to have survived it all.
Those early experiences shaped his perspective, giving him a deep appreciation for life, purpose, and the power of words.
He later served in the United States military as a communications specialist, with duty stations at Fort Hood, Texas, and Wildflecken, Germany—an experience he credits with broadening his worldview and discipline. Outside of writing, he also serves as a speaker, workshop facilitator, and book writing coach.
Creativity extends beyond the page for him. On weekends, he can often be found designing and shaping his yard, creating custom topiaries inspired by a childhood visit to Disneyland. That same imaginative spirit carries into his writing.
Though he never imagined becoming a published author, writing has become his passion. With five published books to date, he writes for both children and adults, drawing inspiration from life’s joys, challenges, humor, and faith. His children’s books allow him to reconnect with imagination and wonder, while his adult works—such as Your Tongue: A Source of Power—focus on spiritual growth, truth, and transformation.
Through his writing and speaking, the author hopes to encourage readers to recognize the power within them, deepen their faith, and discover how words can shape destiny.
Upcoming works include The Baby is Dead, I'll Show You Things to Come, a children’s book, Sidney's Umbrella, and several additional projects filled with adventure, laughter, and life lessons.
